Presents, and I Missed you Daddy!

DH recently went on a business trip to Orlando, FL. He added a few extra days onto the trip, and paid for Paige to go along. They went early, and went to Universal Studios, and did other fun things around Orlando. Here they are returning to the snow (look out the window), and presenting us with the gifts they bought on the trip.

Paige picked out this little puppy in a bag for Sophia, because it looked just like Maggie (Sophia's favorite pup). When we talk about the puppies, Sophia will say, "I don't like Diesel, I like Maggie," very matter-of-factly. When we ask what we should do with Diesel, she replies, "Send him back." We can't convince her of anything else, she just loves Maggie!

Here's Noah showing off the cool ESPN basketball Dad got for him at the ESPN store at Downtown Disney, and the Spongebob mug. He also got a Universal Stuidios winter hat. Everyone except me just loves tea, and has a cup a day. Usually Red Rose tea. Even Sophia has become quite a tea drinker.

Paige is excited to bring out the next gift for Sophia...

Dolce & Gabbana glasses! Okay, they're probably not real (since she bought them at a flea market), but they're really cute!

Once all the gifts were given out, I turned on the "Hallalujah Song." Sophia and Daddy have sung and danced to this song every day for months and months. Sophia had gone a week without it, and you can see she lit right up and reached for Daddy when she heard the music.

She couldn't stop smiling.

Daddy smooches

So happy to have Daddy home again!

Hallelujah! It's good to have Daddy at home. My Hubs is gone tonight and the snow is falling. I hate it. Got the 6 year old in my bed instead. It's not quite the same.
That's interesting that your family drinks tea. My boys aren't fans. Me, coffee lover.

There is nothing like watching your daughter dance with her Daddy, it melts my heart.
When the girls get married and have their Father- Daughter dance there won't be enough Kleenex around for my teary eyes.

Oh my gosh... the daddy-daughter dance. And look how thrilled Sophia is to hear the music and know she is about to dance with her daddy. I'm not kidding... it made me tear up!
