Oh no, more SNOW!

We've gotten almost 20 inches of new snow in the past 3 days. The kiddos were suppose to go back to school today, but it was canceled due to a storm.

Yesterday DH took the kiddos out to play during the latest storm. I couldn't stay out long with my camera, it was getting wet from all the snow! We now have about 9 inches more snow than is pictured here. DH dropped Sophia in the snow, and she really didn't love being buried!

Oh how the pups love to play in the snow. It's so deep they have to hop through it.

They wear themselves out playing, then come in for a nap.

DH built a bonfire down in the fire pit, after digging the snow out of it.

The pups love to wrestle and tackle each other, all in fun.

Really, they were having fun...

Here's Sophia, ready to go out and shovel & play.

Licking snowflakes, waiting for Daddy to pull her.

DH got quite a workout, pulling Noah and Sophia in their sleds, up and down the driveway. The dogs couldn't sit by and just watch, they ran back and forth with him.

Paige can't find her own snowboard, so is using Noah's. Looks like Maggie's thinking it could be a chew toy...

I love the smiles on their faces! "Go faster, Daddy!"

Down the driveway...

and back up!

and back down...

You can send some our way. I think Glenys has never really seen it on the ground since she has been here. It does get a bit old though doesn't it.

What a winter wonderland..... I can't tell you how much I enjoyed this post and all of the wonderful pics of your beautiful family. Oh, those pups are so fun!
Ok, I have to ask??? We want to take Nicholas on a surprise road trip for his birthday (Jan.7th) but we can't find any snow. I want to go somewhere that looks like what you have. Where are you? At this point I would probably drive up to 10 hrs. Nicholas has been home for 5 years and he still talks about the snow. I know he misses it and so do I. We may have to wait until it snows somewhere in Ga, NC or SC.
Have a wonderful time playing in all that snow!!!! I want to make a snowman, have a snowball fight, go ice skating and tubing...

I LOVE the green hat.

And is your husband wearing Carharts? Because that's what mine wears out in the snow, too (yeah, we live in the country, too).

Happy New Year!

Great pictures.....the snow flakes look so cool in the pictures!

I have to say that the dogs playing in the snow are the best. They look so darn cute! I remember our dog Boomer always loved it as well.

Oh Christine! I have missed you so...just getting caught up!
I love all the pics of your fam in the snow...your camera captures the snowflakes so beautifully. I detest winter (as you know), but I wish we were there to join in the festivities - Lily would love to be pulled in a sled and I would be next to you taking pictures. (then we could all go in for hot cocoa!) Sound good?

Happy New Year, my friend!

He can pull my sled any day! Are you sure you got that dog fixed? It looked like they were doing a little more than wrestling....

Love peering into your windows. The view is heavenly.
