The Tent

Here's Sophia, sleeping in her little tent. It's actually a tent for shade from the sun, I picked up at the Gap quite awhile back. Noah pulled it out, and opened it for Sophia to play in. He gets in with her, and will read her books. Much to my surprise, she's wanted to sleep in it! At bedtime she climbs in, and goes right to sleep. She's even asked if she can take her naps in it too.

She sleeps all night in it (it's in our bedroom, at the foot of the bed). She still has to be covered up with her Wiggles blanket (no other will do), even though she's getting so big her toes sometimes poke out of the end! She slept in it three nights in a row. The past two nights she's been back in her own bed.

Sophie set up a tent for a few weeks in her bedroom. She loved it! Kids just love this sort of thing!

So adorable-it's great to have a favorite blanket! (we have one that we bring everywhere--when we are away)

Jennifer and Jillian have an "igloo" tent, they play in it, have tea parties and have picnics.
A little imagination and it gets tranformed into many different things, I just love to see them hide away in it giggling, sharing and pretending(never sleeping,LOL).
Glad Sophia is enjoying hers too. ;O)

Is that how it works to get them out of the parent bed, a tent at the end of the bed? I will get one to get space back for me. Cute pics by they way.

Tents are such fun. When I was a little girl, my best friend would come over every weekend, and we would make our own tent and sleep in it. We would put them in different parts of the house. Such fun!!

Too cute. My girls love "tents" to be made over their toddler beds with blankets (I dislike it since I worry about the blankets falling and the ensuing suffocation). I gotta find me a tent over the bed...hope you are feeling better and sorry about your computer ...my worst nightmare!
