The View from My Front Porch

Awhile back, someone did a Porch Meme. It was fun to see all the beautiful porches. My porch isn't done yet, so I have yet to participate in that. However, it got me to thinking. Not everyone has a porch, but everyone has a front door. So, how about we all (yes, this even means YOU!) do a post of the 'View from our Front Porch, Door, Step...'. One picture, multiple pictures, you decide. We all live in different parts of the country/world, and it would be neat to see what you see when you step out your front door! If you want to share a little more, that would be great too.

We live in a small town in New England, population 2,500 people. No grocery store, no post office. We own four acres on a private, dirt road. Up until a couple years ago, there were no houses in view from our front porch. (click on my picture to see better) We often see deer, wild turkeys, fox and sometimes moose down here (usually down on the playground, or just past it by the corner). In fact, just this morning Maggie & Diesel were barking protectively on the porch, at a deer down there. Oh, they've saved us once again! LOL

Well, that's a little bit about where we live. Time for you to share. Tell us about your neighborhood. Show us the view from YOUR front door. Come on... it will only take you a minute! Today's the day! Please fill out the linky thing below, so we will know you did it, and we can all come and check out your site! Ready... set... go!

The view up here is of kids. Oodles of wading pool kids. Will capture the nannyfest tomorrow for you.
Your scene is serenity. Ahhh.
Population 2500. That represents my moods alone!

Very nice view! What a great idea...I'll probably play along but it usually takes me awhile (I am a horrible procrastinator)

Plus, I get heckled when I post anything besides pics of Lily.

Yes, that is our own playground down there. (to the left). The school in the next town built a new school, and we bought the playground equipment at their 'lawn sale'. We cemented it in the ground, so adults can even do 'underdogs!' LOL

We have a firepit down there too, for roasting marshmallows, or just hanging by the fire. We don't use it much, though.

Not a nice panoramic view like you have, but I did do my front step view. You have to use your imagination and put my 2 photos together.

Wow - what a beautiful view you have!!! Totally different from my urban landscape at home. In fact, now I feel kinda clausterphobic! (did I spell that correctly?) I'm at the cottage right now so will do one from here and one from home when I get back there in a couple of weeks. Even up here at the cottage I'm surrounded by others.

Wow.
This shade of green I'm turning is not flattering.
Do you have a guest suite?

Wow. Now that's a view. I'll play. My view not nearly as gorgeous as yours. I'll let you know when I've posted. Green with envy and you have no traffic?!?! Oh, so jealous.

Thank you for my song. I am having a hard time today. I put Jeremy Camp on the blog, but I will put this song on now because you gave it to me. Thank you so much. It means a lot to me.

Gorgeous view. I'm jealous!! I'm afraid there's nothing spectacular about our view. Just houses across the street.
