ewww.... sorry, mice and there little dropping they leave behind give me the creeps! I feel they are nasty little rodents that don't deserve to live!!!! We have had 2 since moving here in 4 years. Both times I ran out and bought a dozen traps and poison and now I have these repellant noise maker things that are supposed to make them run away because of the sound.
Ahhh, I am a strange one who loves all animals - rodents included. My dd has had 3 pet rats and we adored all but one (it was a scared, blind one that got aggressive when scared) anyway your little fur friend is adorable and probably about 1 week old, since its eyes are open and it has fur.
I found 3 of the what looks like the same kind of mouse (cring!!) on the steps in our motorhome. We thought they were kangaroo mice, but hard to tell if it's the same kind. We put them into a box and tried to feed them warm milk from a dropper, but I think they needed their mom. They only lasted about a day. It's so neat to see how excited kids get over small animals, isn't it :)
There is a time and place for these furry little critters. Outside..... Need I say more. Yes, I do love little furry animals, just not the kind that poop on my underwear...
I saw one of these today and had NO clue what it was!!! I never know whether to pick them up and keep them, or pick them up and feed them or to not touch them incase human scent gets on them and the mom won't care for them...

He is cute! I wonder where his furry family is? So are you keeping him?
A mouse, a mole, don't matter to me.It's a rodent, and rodents and me just don't get along! :-)
P.S. You have a beautiful 2 year old. My adopted daughter is 4, only two months older than my biological son.

Awww, he's just too cute. If you go to my links and visit M&M's Mommy, you'll see the huge rat they found in their house. Your mouse is much cuter!!
