Salamander or Gecko?

Look what DH found when he was digging out an overgrown flower garden! I don't know what it is, I just know I didn't want it near me!

Noah & Sophia weren't afraid at all, they both held it.

Noah wanted to keep it as a pet. We said no...

Yup, I'm not much of a gardener. My cute lil flower bed a few years back, was just a mass of tall grass & weeds. I told DH that if he would dig out the mess, I would do something decent there. Time for me to get to work! Alright ladies, (you know who you are)... you can consider this your DH fix!)

I wouldn't want it near me either, although it's kinda cute.

I would have held it, but Spicy Girl would scream like it was a big, slimy, green monster. That's a cool newt!!

Annalisa would call it a "Lucertola" (i.e. Lizard in Italian). She loves them and is fascinated by them. I personally am not a huge fan or reptiles but I try to instill love and respect for animals so I make sure not to act freaked out when something I'm not fond of comes close to me.

Great find and good luck with your flower bed.
