Introducing our newest family member..... MAGGIE!

We got Maggie tonight, she is a Cane Corso Italian Mastiff (pronounced kah-nay), she is 9 weeks old. Right now she is sleeping at my feet, on a comfy blanket. She's a sweety! CLICK HERE to read more about this breed. Her colors make her look like a rottweiler, but we have the papers to show she is a pure Cane Corso. She'll probably be about 125 lbs when she's full grown.

Sophia, who is afraid of dogs, isn't afraid of Maggie! She loves her!
You'll notice that this picture is a lot like the one below of Noah.
Sophia loves to do everything Noah does, and wanted her picture taken with the puppy, just like Noah.


Paige picked out the girly dog bowls, and wanted to buy 1/2 a dozen fashionable dog accessories for her.


Noah is begging me to bring Maggie in for 'share' (he's in 1st grade, it's like show-n-tell) on Thursday. Noah has volunteered (rather excitedly I might add!) to pick up the poop, if she ends up pooping on the lawn. Hopefully we can teach her to go into the woods for that, like our old Newfoundland did. That would be nice!

All the kids are crazy about her, and she's so sweet and cuddly. I realize she hasn't come out of her shell yet, and tomorrow will be a new day.

What am I thinking, about to potty train Sophia (when this package of diapers are gone, we're DONE with diapers!) and potty training a puppy at the same time! Ah... will give me something to blog about, I guess!
