As you all know, I've got this cute 3 year old. Yeah. What does that have to do with safety locks, you ask? She's a mischief maker, that girl. Today she got into the cupboard underneath the sink. IT'S SAFETY LOCKED. She took mineral oil, dishwasher detergent and barkeeper's friend (an abrasive cleaning powder) and made a soupy mess all over the floor. Paige was there in the livingroom, and she didn't hear a thing. Then the dog threw up, on the living room carpet. I'm guessing the dog licked some of the soupy mess.
GRRRR!
So, Sophia has figured out the safety locks. Does anyone out there know of any really good, super tricky safety locks? Our cabinet doors do not have handles, so they'd need to be the kind that are hidden.
Please let me know ASAP???

oh that girl! She and Caitlyn could have such a big time.
Its funny because at 2 you were always talkig about how Sophia just never did this stuff, then right around 3 she discovered the fun of messmaking. sorry no advice on locks. I put things on the top of thr fridge and Caitlyn can climb it like a monkey and get anything you put there.
LOL. Oh, I know I shouldn't laugh. But I do. Nope, I have no clue. We never installed (shut-up Sen) the first one. I use my big "GET OUT OF THERE" voice and surprisingly it works. The same thing with all my "pretties"...... They get the mean mommy look and *gasp* discipline if they toucha my suffa! :)
Wow! I would say that Chloe never does anything like that, but I don't want to jinx myself! What a riot!! I'm sorry that the dog threw up...
Safety 1st Tot Loks
Wish I had some good answers but I'm sure I'll enjoy the suggestions.
The poor dog is probably going to be tooting soap bubbles!
been there. done that. it sucks.
my houdinis are older now so I doubt that I would know the latest tricks.
Good Luck!
I'm sorry.... not looking forward to the day my cutie figures out that stuff too.
On the bright side... the pups are maturing.... they tried to help clean up the mess not make one...
Well, I guess it did back fire and they ended up making another mess... oops
Sorry I'm grinning here but my Jillian and Sophie could really hit it off!!
Jillian loves to make huge messes, the last one involved a can of mousse and toothpaste.I don't have any lock advice, I just put things up so high she can't reach(for now, LOL)
Sorry about the sick doggy, hope he's feeling better...
We had to remove everything from under the sink since they could walk.
Nothing under bathroom vanity other than TP and that gets abused enough.
Hide em up high.
It's hard to find good safety locks. Ours look like giant diaper pins kind of. They go around through the latches.
Maybe she will be a chemist!!
