We're HOME!

We just arrived home about 15 minutes ago. We should have been home 2 days ago, but our flights were canceled due to the storms along the east coast. We showed up Friday at the Orlando airport and waited in line for more than 2 hours to figure out what to do. They re-scheduled us for this morning, (two days later) and bumped us up to FIRST CLASS (at my gentle request!) So, we had to go get another rental car, and find a hotel for two nights. After trying the hotel we'd stayed at before (all booked and 3 times the price since it was spring break), and calling/stopping at a few others, I called Disneyworld, and (after much confusion and being on hold for 15 minutes), we were told to go to the All Star Music Resort, they were holding a room for us. Yes! Phew! We arrived minutes later, only to find they didn't know anything about holding a room for us, in fact they didn't have any single rooms available. UGH. But - they apologized for the confusion, and put us in a FAMILY SUITE! Here's the BONUS: for the price we would have paid for the single room. So, we had a $285 room (2 baths, kitchenette etc) for the price of the simple, basic room. Very cool. We had used up all our Disney passes, so we just hung out at the pool, the arcade and food court and relaxed. We had to get up at 2:30 this morning to get to the airport for our flight, so it was off to bed early! We had a wake-up call from Mickey Mouse at 3am, but we were already awake. Needless to say, we're all pretty tired, and I'll post pics as soon as I can. Probably tonight or tomorrow. It's good to be home!
